Seattle Police Department Arrests 29-year-old Man After Killing Cyclist in Seattle

Wednesday night in a three-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 5 near Boeing Access Road, troopers said.

The collision happened just before 11 p.m. At one point, traffic was completely blocked on southbound I-5. It cleared around 2 a.m. Thursday.

Drivers of the SUV and blue passenger vehicle were arrested for vehicular homicide. A warrant for blood was obtained for both subjects. It appears that road rage along with impairment were contributing factors, trooper Chris Webb said.

Washington State patrol says the driver who caused the crash was driving under the influence; he was among the injured. He is a 21-year-old from Centralia. His passenger, a 23-year-old female from Centralia, was killed.
