Estes Park Police Auxiliary   

The Estes Park Police auxiliary unit is an important part of the police department and operates with a volunteer staff. 

The volunteers are able to assist the department in parades during community events and other operations.  They have been a valuable asset for large projects and special situations and strive to be a visible, professional presence within the community..

The volunteers receive regular training in traffic control and the municipal and state laws.  They are required to attend the Citizens Police Academy prior to, or upon their acceptance into the program.  Volunteers must undergo a criminal history and drivers history check as well as a reference check.
