The day after Thanksgiving marks the official beginning of the Christmas Season in Estes Park. It's celebrated with the most magical event of the year, the "Come Catch the Glow" Christmas Parade of Lights.

At 5:30 p.m., just as dusk arrives, floats with thousands of tiny twinkling lights roll by lighting up the street. There are theme floats from across America, storybook figures, angels, snowmen, marching bands, entertainers, wildlife characters, the Colorado Crush Arena Football League team will be represented for the third consecutive year ... and of course, Santa ends the parade!

Be sure to come early, because other events start at noon, including visits with Santa, pony rides, hay rides and adorable walking characters along Elkhorn Avenue.
