Honors, Awards, and other Good Stuff!
During every year, the community, the area, or Rocky Mountain
National Park is chosen for being, or having, something unusually good or special.
We wanted to blow our own horn just a little bit, and keep a history of these
honors, awards, and other good stuff! So, here we go:
Kudos-A
tip of the hat to:
September 2007
- Congratulations
are issued to the entire Estes Park business
community for cheerfully managing the thousands of
visitors the town has seen during the past several
busy months. Even though everyone has been
overwhelmed at times, the CVB has heard only
positive comments about the community.
- Every Saturday
at 7 pm through October 27 work by local EPTV
owner-producer Nick Molle can be viewed on Rocky
Mountain PBS – Channel 6 when “
A Walk in the Park:
Real Rocky” airs.
- Randy Martin
was quoted in the Aug. 20 issue of Footwear News as
he talked about purchasing for the “lifestyle trend”
shoes: those good on the trail but styles that also
work in town.
- Mountain
Shadows B&B received rave review in the Aug. 26
edition of the San Francisco Chronicle.
- Eagle Rock
School was named in the Indianapolis Star as a prime
example of a school exhibiting the benefits of
experiential learning experiences.
- Congratulations
go to the Estes Park Volunteer Firefighters for
collecting $8,898.66 (in the boots) for the Muscular
Dystrophy Association during the Labor Day weekend.
