The Zoning Approval Process
Building permits for properties within the Estes Valley
but outside the city limits of the Town of Estes Park require review by an
Estes Park Town Planner to determine whether the proposal meets the requirements
of the Estes
Valley Development Code. This service is provided by the Town of Estes Park
through an intergovernmental agreement with Larimer County.

Building Department or from the Town of Estes Park Community Development
Department in the Town Hall, 170 MacGregor Avenue, Room 210, Estes Park.
Complete the required information on the applicant's portion of the form. -
Take two sets of building and site plans, along with the
zoning approval form, to the Community Development Department for
approval. The Town of Estes Park will retain a copy of the site plan and
building drawings.

The Community Development Department will forward the
signed zoning approval form and the approved plans
to the Larimer County
Building Department. A copy of the approved form will be sent to the
applicant or contact person.

NOTE: A site plan, building elevations with height
measurement from existing grade, and a contour map must be submitted with
the zoning approval application.
