If your land IS part of a platted subdivision,
and you would like to combine lots or adjust your boundary
line, your request will be reviewed through the Amended Plat
process. |
|
|
|
| |
The amended plat process requires hiring a registered land surveyor to
prepare an amended plat map, which is reviewed to ensure the resulting lots
meet the minimum-lot-size and lot-shape standards established for your zoning
district, and also to ensure that there are adequate setbacks between lot lines
and buildings. Utility and access easements will also be considered. |
|
|
|
| |
Amended plat requests are reviewed by the Estes Valley
Planning Commission, with final approval by either the Board of County Commissioners (for properties in unincorporated
Larimer County) or the Town Board (for properties within Town limits), depending
on where your property is located. |

If you live within the Estes Valley
and are interested in amending your platted lot(s), contact
a Planner in the Community Development Department. If you decide to pursue
amending your platted lot(s), you must schedule a formal
pre-application conference with a Planner prior to submitting your application. Click
here to access the pre-application and development application forms, which
must be completed to apply for an amended plat. |
